I have been searching, quite unsucessfully, for a Z16C0210P[SC, SG, EC, EG] CPU chip. This is the 40-pin DIP version.
I am trying to replace the SGS Z8002AB1 CPU in a vintage musical instrument with its CMOS equivalent. I can find nothing on eBay or with hours of extensive web searches; I've gone as far as trying Alibaba sellers without success. The only CMOS replacement I believe is the p/n listed above.
I'd be willing to find an old circuit board and pulling the chip but can't seem to find any references as to use. I guess most were embedded industrial boards. Parts brokers can find them, but at a cost of $200 for a single part.
Any leads or someone with a part for sale would be greatly appreciated!
