I find B30R diodes, Z5W27V DO-218 which seem to correspond. But what does 3E26 mean ? Is it important?

Some times a date, sometimes a "batch" number. The manufacturer data sheet (if you are lucky enough to find the correct one) usually has more info.

Usually the manufacturer is identified by a unique part number, the companie’s logo or sometimes distinct packaging, otherwise you are stuck. Often there is some guessing and iteration involved.
