I have a variable frequency square wave generator that I need to amplify its output (10V). The boost circuit currently working fine with an op-amp boosting it from 10V to near 30V (using LM741 and 32V transformer).

I got an XL6009 boost module to replace the OpAmp (and get rid of the transformer)
- when I connect the square wave to the module In, the wave get distorted (attached pics before n after.. measured at module In pins) and there's is no output from the module.

- Do I need to add any extra components at the module inputs\outputs?

Attached module and wave pictures

That module only boosts a DC voltage. You will need to look at the information provided by the company that you bought it from to the range of input and output voltages and currents that it supports.

The voltage ranges are ok and compatible with the module..
Same module is installed on an Arduino circuit with square wave output and its boosting and working fine
