In continuation of my earlier post,
https://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/threads/wounded-toshiba-satellite-laptop-issue-1.148520/,
the second issue is in making the on board Bluetooth to work. It was a bit tricky in XP, but worked fine in Win7.
After the damage, even after loading the recommended drivers, Win 7 and 8.1 give a warning that there is a problem with the Bluetooth Device.
Ubuntu and LinuxMint and Windows 10 has no problem in working with the Bluetooth, so I don't think there is a hardware problem. But something has changed making the windows drivers ineffective.
Is there anything like a Generic Windows driver for Bluetooth?
