Hello everyone, I recently came across a Toshiba IC labeled T6180　28PinDPI　, but I cannot find any datasheet or detailed information online. It seems to be part of a larger family of Toshiba components, possibly related to speech synthesis or display controllers, as suggested by similar ICs like T6803 and T7779 found in old Toshiba data books. Does anyone have experience with this IC or know where I might find more information about its function? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

 

It could be a factory programmed ROM IC for custom firmware.

 

Here is a typical pinout of an 8k x 8 ROM in 24-pin DIP. You could apply power and control signals and see if you can access memory contents.

We have been able to confirm on the web that some comparator and counter components have part numbers starting with "T~."
