Hello,
Thanks in advance!
Here is the link: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/8W-2-4Ghz-Wi...881850?hash=item1e9bfa28fa:g:J-QAAOSww5hZHCDA

If what I am thinking is correct. With this device, I could simply tie into the output from my wireless router. I may have
to solder a BNC jack to the actual board or perhaps not. Either with this tied in there would be no special setup. it would just
make the access point a lot stronger. the circumference of its range would expand. those trying to use the router would log in
with or without a password as normal. A true power antenna basically. It would be really helpful to be sure in advance. Thanks.

There are country-dependent legal limits on the maximum power a wifi transmitter can generate. The linked amplifier 8Watt output far exceeds the limit (at least for the US) and could blot out reception for nearby legal users of the spectrum.

would someone please just answer the question. I live in Wyoming the least densely populated state in the nation. I do not have neighbors.

I am not going to comment RE legality but I fear you are missing the point anyway...

Your AP may well be able to transmit to the next state, wiping out everything in its path, and you may not care, but how exactly do you expect it to here anything attempting to contact it... Amplifiers on every device?

There are very good reasons why TX power is mandated.
Long range links are possible but would need two such transmitters, working as a pare, still illeagle, and an would likely require directional antennas.

My suggestion, understand and deffiune your problem, and then find an appropriate solution, preferably based on equipment that isnt going to damage your health and inconvieniance everyone else, at the least.

Best of luck...
