Hi there,

not sure if I’m right or wrong here.

I spent the past week searching for a pcba for a Qi wireless charger with a 12v input, but I can’t find any. All I found were pcba with 5v or 9v input.
is it that the chargers with 12v inputs don’t exist because it makes no sense? Or am I searching wrong?

my application is that I want to build a diy wireless charger connected to the 12v power supply of a motorcycle.

thanks everyone for their help!
Happy new year everybody!

Hi Florian, I have done some work on Qi transfer myself. I guess the majority of QI stuff on the market at the moment is USB powered but QI chargers in cars are becoming more common, so these should be 12V!
If you can't find any, it may actually be possible to use 12V with one of the 9V versions, with a bit of reverse engineering to check that you are not exceeding any of the voltages of the components.
