Hi everyone,

I have my wine cooler but as soon as I put a new fuse, it blows immediately.

I found 2 parts burned but for one i'm not able to know what is it.

Can you help me ?

Thank you !

It looks like a VDR and if it is near the mains input to the board then that would confirm it. It is there to protect the board from spikes/surges on the input voltage. You need one rated for your mains supply voltage.

You don't indicate where the bad parts are on the board. The photo is of a small ceramic disk capacitor, but where it was on the board is important.

That is a switching power supply. The fuse blowing immediately indicates that the problem probably is on the primary side, maybe a shorted bulk filter capacitor or switching transistor.

Are there any components on the bottom side?

Woww thank you for the fast answering !!

The part is in serial with the line.

How can I know the value of the component ?

If the green thing is in series with the line input then it will be an NTC inrush current limiter (though it is labelled RTC which isn't an abbreviation I've come across.
