Hi help please my knowledge of electronics is very basic and i am trying to operate a 230v ac solinoid with a dc SSR.i have attached a circuit diagram.
What have i got wrong and what do i need to do?
Assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Mosfet is a TC4420
Input is from a Dr Daq Logger 3v 1ma
9 V 2a dc supply
trying to operate a 3-32vdc SSR which has a trigger of 7.5ma/12v

 

You dont show pins 4 and 5 connected together, did you read the datasheet? Also, shouldn't you have some limiting resistor on the between the output and the ssr?
