I am just wondering why mobile booster like weBoost require transmitter when you only need to received signal and amplify it? I am just curious what exactly the function of transmitter in this case?

 

If the booster didn't transmit the amplified signal how would the phone receive this bigger signal?

If the transmitter is use to transmit and receive by the phone what is the receiver for then?

I thought that we just need the receiver is fine

So you meant basically like so

Receiver (receive signal) ---> Amplify (boost) ---> Transmitter (transmit to the phone)?

Ah thanks ...my thought was this way

Transmit ---> To fetch network signal ---> then Receiver (received the network signal) --- > then amplify into the phone...so my guess was wrong.
