I generally don't meddle with people's personal data, but since you have made such an official statement about your employment, claiming large status, I should also report that your IP locates in India.
nice...:p;):D:rolleyes:

btw, why is IP not showing for every user under "about me" , "statistics" or even "contact info"?

Well, someone's location is considered personal data. Mostly to avoid discrimination due to country of origin. Besides, IPs can home in down to the neighborhood in large cities. Not good.

Most fora don't display your location, but some post your country.

i can see that, still doesn't explain why (imagining all the dirty secretes mighty moderators get to see)
I think some forum do show your ip to everyone though?

Anyway, hello everyone... I'm not from India... nor I am a giant company from the UK lol.

I'm just a humble and poor Montreal Polytechnique student :)

Welcome aboard folks. Your privacy is important, more than may be obvious. Unless someone is making outrageous claims your info is safe.

I am from University of Toronto, studying business and computer science, but currently extremely interested in EE :)
I was going to ask if you may have met my brother in law there, but a quick check of the website reveals there's over 50K students. So not likely. That's the population of city. Amazing.
