I'm building a encoder/decoder. Here is the example schematic from the datasheet.

I can't find in the datasheet what value of Rosc I should use. Any ideas? Thanks.

 

We don't know either, but I would work off the timing nomogram on page 5 of the PDF.

The datasheet states a typical oscillator frequency of 150kHz when the OSC resistor is 51k and the supply is 5.0V. There is a graph showing how the frequency changes when the supply voltage is changed.
