Can anyone advise which one is the same and which one is different between LT1172 and 555 Timer

LT1172

GND
Vc
FB
NC*
Vin
E1
Vsw
E5

555 Timer

0v
Trigger
Output
Reset
Control
Threshold
Discharge
+Vcc

I know the following

Pin GND = Pin 0v (1 = 1)
Pin Vin = Pin +Vcc (5 = 8)

Where is Vsw in the 555 Timer? and which one are the same and which one are not exist in one another?

They are completely different chips intended for quite different purposes. There is no equivalence between pin functions.

For example a pair of transistors can drive a mosfet as well. Do you expect that to have the same pins as a 555?

Bettter tell us what do you want to do with that LT1172 and we can work out a solution.

I think there must be similarity because both can drive mosfet although it may not be 100%

They both have 8 pins. They both may or may not contain some similar components. They both might be able to drive some of the same components. That is where the similarity ends. With that limited definition of "similarity", there are likely millions of similar chips out there.

Saying the 555 is similar to a 8 bin mcu is probably a far truer statement since they both have timers and the 555 is somewhat programmable. But in actuality, they are just as dissimilar as the pair you presented .

Or better. An apple is similar to a candy bar since you can eat them both.
