Hi, I am looking for the attached vibration motor.
It’s 9v
Length of motor is 12mm
Length of motor and weight is 18mm

I can’t find one the same!

9V seems rather high for a vibrating motor.
They are usually 1.5V - 3V motor.

I know, that’s the problem finding one!

It’s in a metal detector that runs from a 9v battery.
The voltage going to the motor is around 8.5v

 

Always eBay ....dozens of designs simmilar to theone pictured , put "vibrating motor" in search

 

I’ve seen those ones, unfortunately it’s too big.

It needs to fit inside a tubular handle in a divers metal detrctor, it’s can’t be much bigger than the PCB one in the picture.

 

Looks the same as used in mobile phones. As someone else commented; 9V seems a bit unlikely.

A sex toy vended from machines in toilets has the same motor - but again, we're talking 3 button cells.

 

Search on amazon found mobile phone motors 3V... 4 x 11mm

Put a zener diode in series with it, or a small regulator.

Off the shelf kit is probably about half voltage to suit lithium battery - and correspondingly about twice the current.

Still might be easier than finding a 9V part though...……….
