Hello again everyone,
So I've got a dyson supersonic HD07 in for repair. Normally it's just a small.number of generic faults which cause these to stop running but this one has me stumped trying to identify the correct part needed so thought I'd ask the experts.
When I first stripped this hairdryer down I found the smd 3.5amp fuse had blown, so i swapped it out for a new one, put everything back together, plugged it on, switched on amd a big bang, some magic smoke and non working. I took it apart again and the fuse had blown again so I removed it amd tested for shorts across the terminal, which there wasn't. So I removed the circuit board completely and noticed this component had a big burn mark and a crack along the top left edge. Anyway, putting the information from the component into google wasn't coming up with any results, no matter what combination I search under. Ive tried swapping the O's for a zero and vise versa but I still get no results found.
Any help.would be greatly appreciated, this chip is after a bank of 3 big 400v caps so, ive had all the caps out and they test fine.
Thanks in advance
