Im using Arduino IoT Cloud with Arduino MKR WiFi 1010

I am trying to control speed of blink in DASHBOARD, not in the sketch/editor, so that I can use my smart phone to control it

I tried "time" (although I might not be doing it right)

Im unsure how to set this up...I have a thing created for it, and the LED does blink, but how do I get to the point where the dashboard and variables actually connect, so I can control it with my phone?

I haven't found anything online that explains how to make the code so that you can control blink speed with the variable "slider" or other dashboard features...

I mean, I can go on and change it once at a time, in the sketch, but how do I make it so that the button on the dashboard will change the blink speed, and continue to do this as many times as you want without changing the sketch itself


...I don't know the code for that, and im having trouble finding help online

 

So does your Dashboard have a working link to the LED, meaning the problem is "just" code to control the LED? Or are you struggling to make a connection?

should help you use the value of "slider " to control how long the LED is on and how long it is off. read about the delay function.
(Under the time section) you just need to set the value of the delay from the value from the slider value.
