What type of switch does a Weighing Scale use?

Hello

A weighing scale is generally on sleep mode. As soon as we step on, the power turns on. What type of power on of switch is used in it?

It does not need a separate power switch. The MCU can be in ultra low power sleep mode. It is woken up by the sensor when the weight exceeds a given threshold.
