Dear community,

I am trying to identify the "name" of these LED components embedded in the monitor, so that I can purchase some for a medical device project.

What are those illuminated lights on top and the side of the monitors?

Thanks!

I can't make out any discrete LEDs in either picture. If there are any, they likely use light pipes to get the desired effect, so the LED package isn't that critical.

They are probably white LED's used as backlights. Color comes from color filters in the LCD screen. Are you sure those screens are LCD and not OLED?

I don't think those are catalog-standard parts. They probably are surface-mount LEDs along the edge of the display pc board, shining out through a molded translucent gel strip or piece that is pressed into a gap in the plastic case. Or something like that.
