It would take an ever increasing amount of applied Elecromagnet Force to accelerate an Iron object.We have actually discussed this elsewhere, but you seem to have problems with it. The difference between acceleration and gravity is none, they can not be told apart if a person is subjected to either in a sealed room with no view of outside the room. It is the fundamental assumption that created a lot of Einstein's concepts, and it has withstood the test of time and experiments. The mathematical units to describe either is identical. This is not a coincidence.
Now if Gravity increased like a force in order to accelerate us...as we stood on Earth we would grow HEAVIER AND HEAVIER AND HEAVIER.
