I'm not sure, but I can tell you how to find out. With one hand at the back of the book and one hand at the front, slowly bring your hands together. Now, with the hand on the back on the bottom, remove your hand on the top. Next, read the text on the front. Congradulations, you have just found the name and author of your book!

By the print it is an old book, that appears to be quoted as a test example question by one of the engineering sites.
