I only know the bottom symbol which represents switches, but I don't know about another one.

The top one is used extensively in my networking notes from university to denote a router as opposed to a switch.

It would really help to have some context. Are these symbols used in industrial lighting controls, data center communications drawings, sewage treatment plant floor plans, what?
