I think negative reviews are not legal you interference a business.

I live in the United States where freedom of speech is a protected right. I'm giving my opinion and am not intentionally being untruthful. If a legitimate business takes issue with anything I say, they can sue me.

I've never seen any counterfeit parts. There's a lot of unfounded rumour. Did you get counterfeit parts?

I have purchased counterfeit parts from AliExpress, Alibaba, and Amazon. There are members on this forum who have posted regarding counterfeit product purchased on eBay.

Hello everyone. Currently lurking in the forums and found this page while i was shopping for parts which i will be ordering. Thank you all for your responses as your answers are a product of experience, i'm sure that the newcomers and electronic newbies like myself will appreciate. That being said, i want to comment about shopping from dealers all around the world. There is a rule of thumb that you need to know while shopping; "go popular or go brave". This basically implies that you need to either shop from places and products that are high in order quantity if you want to be safe. You need to look at: Dealer's points, people's comments about the dealer, comments about the product and overall speculations and quality points given on subject. I think this applies every shop on the interwebs.

A Zener diode is nothing different with other diodes, unless the reverse voltage is tightly controlled, making it usable as a crude sort of voltage regulator.
