i just would like to ask your help, anybody out there, to please explain to me what causes the potential transformer of a primary metering to explode?

 

If you're speaking of the household step down transformer out on the utility pole (pole pig), they go bang when they have a winding go short. The heating due to the short circuit current transfers to the cooling oil in the can. The expansion pressurizes the can and causes it to fail, making the explosion.

 

On the other hand, are you referring to the 'metering' transformers (a.k.a. "current" transformer{s}) -- even moderately loaded operation without the meter in place (naughty, naughty!) will summarily 'dispatch' them!
