I have a solved example in a power electronics eBook, that posting different naming for voltages. I tried to figure the difference between them but I've searched websites and pdf files, but I couldn't find a page that explain the basics of this type of power rectification circuit.

I want to know what are the naming & difference between VL(m), Vphase & Vm?

 

The circuit is of a 3 phase full wave Triac bridge, typically used originally in simple motor drives etc
