I just signed a contract with ARRL for a comprehensive book on receiving antennas, active and otherwise. I can be found in the igloo, if you look hard....but probably won't pop up here very often till about June.

Congratulations, ARRL's gain, our temporary loss.
In the Summer of 1948 I worked on the Alaska Railroad, but as Winter approaches, I'm glad to be in Tucson.

That seems normal for where you are. In other words, "No difference"?
Oh wait. I missed the part about popping up at AAC.
I thought you meant, popping up outside the igloo.:D
Yeah, 9 months of life-threatening winter sounds about right.:p
That's why I live in Florida.;)

Great! Let the fingers dance on the keyboard! Will the book be out next fall? In what type, paper or PDF?

In the Summer of '48, my father started his military career...

The idea of writing a book looks fascinating.

Wish I could peek at the igloo to watch how it is delivered. After all it is a 9 months period. Good luck.
