Hi to all the users of the forum, I am an inexperienced in electronics, I should power a water pump through a 12v 50ah car battery, I would like some help to create the circuit. I have already bought a pump (12v (9-14.4v) 6a Max Power 70w a button a relay and a drimmer, I am attaching photos.

Welcome to AAC!
1) Can you confirm the dimmer is rated for 8A? It looks from its label in your pic as though it might be only ".8A".
2) The pump label isn't shown in full. Are you sure 6A is the stall current and not the rated running current?

The dimmer does appear to be rated at 0.8A.

And the motor it rated for 70W, so 6A is the apparent running current.
The starting current would be several times that, so the dimmer would need to handle that surge.

What circuit?
So far it is a power source and a pump & relay!
Manual or automatic switch ?
How?

I would like a schematic on how to connect the button the relay and the pump and the drimmer.
Using the button I decide to turn it on and off.
Is the relay with 30a fuse okay?
