Hello

A washing machine motor control board. Upon examination I found a burnt trace at F. I removed component L1 (and inductor?) and found no connections to F or I. Any ideas as to what is going on here?

They moved my post here but I got a new board so I'm not looking to repair it. What do you think the area circled in red is about? It doesn't connect to any components.

on a multilayer boards things like this may be just pads brought to more convenient place to serve as test points or place to add optional component. but the images suggest that this is a single layer board and nothing connects to it. It is not even drilled through and pads and trace are tiny. this suggests it is either an option of some sort or maybe or test area (PCB etching etc.). and it looks dirty but not burned. you can probe each of the pads to anything on the rest of the board to see if this is some sort of odd PCB type (multilayer without top layer). as others suggested i would also say to just ignore it...
