Some voltage regulators, such as this LM317T by ST Micro, list the line regulation in terms of %/V.

Which voltage does the "per volt" refer to? Per output volt? Per input-output voltage differential?

 

The figure is percentage change in output voltage per volt of change on the input.


The figure of .01%/V corresponds with the 80 db SVR (Supply ripple rejection).
