Hi All,

I have found myself struggling with the identification of a specific Voltage regulator, or 8-Pin Linear Regulator Controller I believe it may be called! that converts 5v to 3.3v I have spent hours looking at various component websites with no luck, I have contacted the manufacture who will not give details on the Voltage regulator.

I know 5v is applied to pins 4 & 8 3.3v comes out on 5,6 & 7

so I was wondering if anybody could help me on here the only identifying marks it has are written on top of the package and they are

MDAC
SAKB

I cannot find that part number, it may be a 'custom ic' type.
Look at this link, if you are confident about your pin description an equivalent may be the way to go.
