Hi, I'm currently working on a rectifier design where I need to introduce a frequency switching circuit, and my friend suggests that I use a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO). Any thoughts?
I need it as part of an energy harvesting device, and this rectifier needs to function both at 2.4GHz and at 5GHz. The problem is I'm having a hard time looking for some sort of switching circuit that can be used to switch between two frequencies, which would be useful in increasing the capacity of the rectifier. Any help would be appreciated.
I think you need to switch the circuit (wave guides, detectors, etc. between those two bands. Why not just two wave guides and two detectors. Maybe much cheaper than trying to switch things.
