Hello,in the patch bellow i have two ports which creates individual electric fields orthogonal to each other as shown bellow.
I have tried to test the polarity of each field using co and cross polarization of some reference linear polarity
From all photos we can see the electric fields is pointed to the Z-direction.(but from different side).
so given the menual menu bellow:

So looking with respect to the Antenna what is Ludwig X=1 Z=1 polarization means?
How can i vissualy imagine this situation?
Thanks.

It means ,your antenna is looking rather nearsighted. No really, Polarized radiated waves cannot be looked at inside the antenna, that's near field & should we look at the polarized radiated waves of the E- Field under Farfield conditions.

so if my antenna electric field is X liniarly polarised(in far field)
in my cst polarization window menu for z' axes i have X Y Z
and for x' axes i have X Y Z
I cant understand why they have Twice of the same thing.
How can i make using the menua bellow, CST to interpret my untenna from X polarized reference antenna?

Thanks.
