Hello,

It will show the same image on all monitors connected.
If you want different images, you will need a graphics card with more outputs.

If you have empty pci slot (NOT pci-E), you can put a second video card there and use it for second monitor. Windows has been supporting multiple pci video cards since Win95 or 98.

Or, like bertus said, get a video card with two outputs. It does not have to be fancy. VGA+DVI, dual vga, dual dvi, etc.

Hello,

A famous card with multiple video outputs is the NVIDiA QUADRO.
They are available in AGP and PCI Express:
https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_nr_n_1/130-7792357-4055341?fst=as:eek:ff&rh=n:284822,k:NVIDIA+Quadro&keywords=NVIDIA+Quadro&ie=UTF8&qid=1506800105&rnid=2941120011
They have prices from 30 to over 2000 Dollar, so take your pick.

geez, just about any modern card can support two monitors, no need for quadro cards. cards from 10-12 years ago supported dual monitors just fine.
