It is safe to use 2.5kV megger with 220v relay ?, my relay LED is flickering during test, do you think it can damage the relay ?

 

Why are you doing a megger test on the relay (contact side or coil side)?
Certainly it could damage the LED, depending on how you connect the megger.

My colleague mistakenly doing a megger test in coil side, do you think it can damage coil and also LED ?, that was failure for a thousands of relay

 

I was tested coil continuity, its still good

 

Most likely nothing bad happened buy you should probably test the contacts of the relay before calling it good.

 

The typical "Megger" can certainly test for both leakage to the relay frame from the contacts, and also check for leakage across open contacts, which can be an issue some times.
