Using a National Instruments DAQPad-6020e with labview 2018

I believe this is the correct category for this question?

firstly, I have never used LabVIEW before, but to test/verify my college senior design project (EENG) I need to construct a test jig with 24 strain gauges. For this I acquired three 6020e DAQPads that I hope to use.

I'm using LabVIEW 2018, on a windows 10 pc. I cant seem to get them to be detected, as i don't think DAQmx supports these "vintage" units, and i assume that this current version of LabVIEW does not either, without some special changes . Looking around, i believe i need the NI-DAQ 7.4.4 drivers. however, when i tried to install them, they are not able to be installed due to an incompatible OS (wants XP or older), not even when i tried to trick them using windows compatibility mode.

my question is whether or not I could get these to work in my current setup (and how would i be able to accomplish this) - which would be ideal, or do i need to find an old xp laptop and load all the software onto that (with a older version of LabVIEW etc.)? I would much prefer to get it working using my current setup and laptop, and as mentioned i have little experience in LabVIEW so any recommendations are appreciated. thanks.

thanks, looking at this, NI-DAQ 7.5 might be an option, but the only version I've found so far for that has been 32 bit. I'll try to get into contact with NI to see if i can get a 64 bit version. However, i believe that the last version of the NI-DAQ software that supported the DAQPad 6020e was the NI-DAQ 7.4.4, so i don't think it'll work, but I will try. any other suggestions are appreciated, its looking more and more like I'm going to have to do all this in XP though.

Edit: doesn't seem a 64 bit version exists. https://forums.ni.com/t5/Digital-I-O/Ni-DAQ-driver-with-64-bit-OS/td-p/1796292. Unless someone has a better idea, XP it is :<
