yes , just turn something on, and then i can turn it off when i want. just 9v circuitI think he just wants to time the operation a 9 Volt device (or maybe higher) using a kitchen timer.

Use the kitchen timer or any other timing device.

Since a piezo is an AC device with a frequency possibly in the 10's of thousands of hertz, a simple meter set to AC "MIGHT" and "MIGHT NOT" give you an accurate reading. However, on DC - you're going to see things flying all over the place with regards voltage since most meters sample rather than read out a continuous reading.dc voltage setting just basic dmm

Tell us the length of time desired. Is it seconds, minutes, hours? What resolution and accuracy is required?

this is simply set on the kitchen digital timer.
just want to use the output to the piezo?transducer? to trigger another circuit at 9v,
which i will turn off manually when i want.

It is also clear to us that a kitchen timer is not designed to do what you are trying to do.
There are digital timers on the market that has relay switch contacts for output.
