I have made a bench power supply using a smps. I want to use its 5v output to make usb charger for my phone and raspberry pi. Can it burn my phone or pi by overcurrent or voltage. please suggest some good charger circuit with overcharge and overcurrent protection.

No it wont damage your phone, it has an inbuilt charger for the battery.

No but he said the phone does.. So I am guessing that you plan on using a computer power supply to charge your phone ?? Also remember to figure out the resistor network to get max charging current instead of the normal 500ma..
