I have recently took a laptop battery apart to salvage the 18650 cells and am having difficulty identifying what they are. Any help info point in the right direction would help massively.

I have attached a few pics if anyone wants anymore for any reason I will get them for you. Thanks

Do you mean capacity? Brand/manufacturer isn't relevant as you already have them. If the battery pack is OEM, you can be pretty certain that they were high quality cells at one time.

If you want to find their capacity, charge them and do a discharge test.

Testing is easier if you have a tester. I recently purchased one on Ali Express that seems to be decent.

An 18650 battery cell is Lithium. It is 4.2V when fully charged and is 3.0V almost dead when its load should be removed.
Its voltage shows you its polarity. If its voltage is less than 2.8V then it is ruined and should not be charged to avoid an explosion and fire.
