Understanding permeability when dealing with B-H curves

Hey everyone, I am learning about the magnetic field intesity, H, as it relates to flux and flux density, B.

My question: Can permeability be viewed almost like capacitance but relating to a magnetic field instead of an electric field, where a material is “saturated” with a magnetic field like a fully charged cap? What happens to a fully saturated magnetic material if H is removed? Does the flux density start to act like a capacitor discharging or will it stay magnetized until some other action is taken? Is this what hysteresis involves?

Also I find the terminology between flux and flux density to be a bit confusing and would also appreciate any distinctions people can make, however I think I understand that more clearly than my main
