I have designed a boost converter in Qspice and would like to implement average current control using analog circuitry. I have looked at some resources, but the implementations vary. I am confused when to choose one design over another. Can someone clarify how to make that decision?
For now, I plan to use the design from University of Minnesota's power electronics course (Lecture #18). If I want to plot the uncompensated current loop, can I derive the transfer function using the small signal model of the boost converter? I am new to power electronics, so I'd really appreciate any explanations along with any resources you've found helpful.
