hello everyone
I was just referring a TDA 2030A test circuit given in the datasheet. I couldn't understand the connections between C5 & C3 and C6 & C4 capacitors. Does the dotted line in connections indicate that it is an alternate for the other capacitor adjacent to it.

C5 & C6 will be required if the amplifier is not close to the reservoir capacitors in the power supply.

Les.
The main reservoir cap is mostly about preventing ripple from the PSU.

The local capacitors are more about transient response and amplifier stability.

You probably can't get the chip close enough to the PSU to not need those local capacitors.

Dotted lines sometimes mean, "optional" and sometimes they mean, "conditional".
ian field properly points out that, in this case, the dotted lines are basically, "misleading".
It requires a special kind of skill and experience to think about how one could arrange this circuit to NOT need those capacitors.
