So I needed a thermocouple that had a lit up display. I bought a LED thermocouple panel meter on Amazon ( actually I bought 2 the first one was Fahrenheit which I did not want). The only thing I feel is worth mentioning on this project is the project box itself, it came together very nicely. I will be using this technique again in the future. After I get through here I will probably put it right up in the Tricks & Tips thread. My default thickness for panels that I need to be somewhat strong is 0.08”, Except for the front panel I made that a bit thicker to help hold the panel meter in. The key to this box are the side panels where I put mounting extensions that were 25” high. The holes are 0.10" which are tap sizes for the #4/40 x ¼“ countersunk screws I used to wscrew every thing together. Soft plastic offers very little resistance to these screws and it has the advantage of being removable.
