Can I ask where you found this? I can't see this working... there's no return path for the signal... do you want to try it? I wonder if it worked on as an example two battery powered devices....

I would like to add a ground lift to my little circuit, as long as it's just a switch along the ground path (and if it doesn't work I can keep the switch closed, or just remove it).

It does appear to me that they can be bypassed with the "Reactive/Resistive Switch", so they wouldn't be providing isolation in that case.
