Hello all...
So someone in my alley deposited an electric piano. It is a Williams Legato III (that is apparently the model #)
I couln't help myself and so dragged it into my garage. It included the power cable. Plugged it in and nothing.
Checked the power cord with is labled 16VDC and that is what it measured. I was hoping it wasn't ;O)
Took out ALL the screws... there were alot. Gave a look at the circuit board for and indication of heat.. did not see anything obvious.
The only obvious place to test for voltage was the pins that connected to the batteries so I tested there and that measured good.
That is as far as I got and checked with google for a service manual and your site came up with a question from someone else and you guys were very helpful so I joined to ask for your help.
At this point should I try removing the circuitboard to see the top side? I did not take any pictures but of course if it would help I can do that.
