any of you have any information on this type of cells that besides producing electricity also uses a window as an infrared radiator, I have no other info on distribuitors or the like.

 

Google yields over 100,000 hits. The first page of results took me to an Austrian site which is marketing them.

Seems that some firms are working to make them tunable - one will be able to select which wavelengths are passed through and which are captured for generating electricity.

The first one appear to be a distribuitor but I could not see any transparent cells. Thanks anyway but I do not understand any Austrian or French, if you have any in English or Spanish let me know.

 

The first two links I provided do indeed have pages in English. Click on the flag for the one and the word "English" for the other.

Please understand that "distributor" is not the right word. These are mfgr's websites. This stuff came out just last year, you know.

I added the word "English" to the search string. From here out, I prefer that you do your own Googling. I've had fun with the topic, but my dinner will be ready soon...

Hi Sir, thanks for the pages, the reason I wanted to find more info like a distribuitor was to see how to became one.
Your are right about the austrian site, I did not see the English flag on top of the screen is so small.
Also I never asked you personally to find me those pages I posted a thread and you offered voluntarily to help which is much apreaciated.
I do not want to feel that I pose duress or I disconforted you in any way. By the way you are the only one who showed some interest on this cells.

If it's any help about decisions, my latest Electronic Design suggests that PV prices are falling on the order of 20%/year, and that there has been a recent reduction due to the ability of producing larger panels (about double the area of the more-or-less standard 1 x1.3 m size).
