What is the control method of an inverter to transition from Active short circuit mode to PWM operation mode while the motor is spinning at high speed without causing an overvoltage on the DC link?

 

Do you have a model number for the inverter? Without it, we can only make wild guesses.
If there is an active short circuit across the motor, it won't spin for very long!

The only safe way that I know of doing this is by introducing a delay long enough for the motor to stop before applying the PWM pulses
