Hello everyone.
im just want to ask something,
see i have an ULKA pump that I salvaged from an old Coffee Maker.
it has two pins, one is having a symbol of a diode and the other one has a 220vAC writing in it. i connect those 2 pins in the teminals of a 9v Battery , theres a round hole in the center of the pump so i placed a screw driver inside it and it attracts the metal screwdriver and works as a electromagnet . so then i placed a switch to play with it .. but i accidentally touched the two pins of the pump while turning off the switch and it gives me a shock, the faster i switch it on/off the more painful it gets, so im just asking why is it capable of producing a painful shock when im just using a 9vBattery ? and why does it do what it does .
just asking
Thank you ,, im just a newbie here
