Hello. I have a question about touchpad area design on pcb.
can i solder ic on other side of touchpad area on pcb? for example touchpad area is on top layer, can i place ic on bottom layer? or it will cause the ic to not act properly?

 

i'm using TTP 223 touch ic and touch area is 10x18 mm
