Just took a look, and I can confirm that we're being mirrored. I could only find very recent material and certainly not everything that is here.

That entire website escapes my understanding more than the turbomolecular vacuum pump.
How could you not expect we're being copied when there are consistently 50 or 60, "robots" searching this site?
What could possibly be the purpose of copying AAC on a website labeled for, "gamers" and which has only 2 members?
The word, "derp" comes to mind, but I'm not sure whether it refers to that website or me.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, my toilet needs repairing. That box of 6 toilet flappers got distorted from laying in the tool box for several years, and they are all useless!

Back to my real life today. :(

Right...flappers from the 1920's. I assure you, all of them are over 100 years old now.
That probably makes them useless for today's chores, but I hate to disparage people...even when they are dead.
Let's just say the memory of them is useful. It encourages the human spirit to remember that level of vitality.
Meanwhile, sitting here listening for the toilet to top up.
I think I have it fixed.

perhaps in a low-overhead bid to create the illusion of active fora?
Easily pierced illusion when you notice that the Thread Starter for every entry is the same person (or robot), and this is a prime reason why I can not understand the purpose of that copy-cat site. As far as I can tell, it could be a school assignment to demonstrate the ability to design a website. Not an active, purposeful site, just a functional site.

ps, I hope they benefit from the information that you can't keep a box of toilet flappers for 20 years and expect them to survive.

I generally agree.

They actually have 28 members (but only 2 "notable" members, meaning a member that has made at least one post). Yet they currently have 34 members online -- which means that there is a flaw in the way they determine the number of members online (and we almost certainly have that same flaw).

They claim 10,941 discussions and an identical 10,941 messages, meaning that each and every thread contains exactly one post. But I don't know where those 10,941 posts came from because of their two notable members, Eva has 350 posts and DaRReLL has 1.

But I got a laugh out of the fact that DaRReLL is an obvious spammer!

Perhaps they're re-authoring them following acquisition?...

this is a prime reason why I can not understand the purpose of that copy-cat site.
'Tis bizarre alright!

Aye!!! -- There would seem to be a blaze-orange 'Students at play' sign in the mix!!!

Toilet flappers are now obsolete:
Now I just have to buy a whole unit replacement when the handle inevitably breaks.
That's PROGRESS!
I believe I've heard of that kind of progress. I'll have to go back to my X-13 motor story. The $2 MCU quit working and the programming is a secret, so I had to buy my customer a new 1/3 HP motor for $464 (wholesale). Now, that's PROGRESS!

I have seen these copy cat sites before. I think the microsoft sites get copied a lot. Lots of these sites that are copied never have any answers ti questions just the questions. I don't understand it either.

Same as the datasheet sites. There are dozens of them. Why would anyone want to maintain a datasheet site?

And then there are those odd product sites. Seems mostly for components and lots of them seem to be from China and have no company info. They seem to be sort of a clearing house site.
