You're probably right. Well here's another cheap China option but it should do what you want, if you don't feel like paying grainger's prices. At least they put their own ridiculous random-letter-generator brand name on it instead of counterfeiting a legitimate competitor.

@strantor You are correct, I should have said...

Then when you push the button, power is disconnected to the relay and when the button is released the power is restored and the cycle starts, where the common moves to the NC connection and then to the NO at the end of the cycle.

i made the mistake of assuming the OP would understand that the button must also be released.

Thanks for the clarification. I saw where you did state the relay would need continuous power but then the portion I quoted didn't seem consistent with that.

Now that I understand you, I will point out that this will do something similar to what an off-delay timer does, but not quite.

What you described will, upon turning on the switch, pump will run X seconds, then turn off. Even if the switch is still on. It will only ever run X seconds at a time.

It is my understanding TS wants the operation that us consistent with an actual off-delay timer, which is as follows:

You turn the switch on, the pump turns on. The pump will remain on as long as the switch is on. You turn the switch off, the pump keeps running for X seconds.

Grainger actually had the best price I could find on the Macromatic ($38).
Where do you guys shop?
Yeah it's actually a surprisingly good price for Grainger. Honestly I didn't even look at the number because everything grainger sells is usually at a 5X markup and I considered it safe to just make the assumption and lament the cost. I usually shop at AutomationDirect but their equivalent is $63. I am recording this as the very first time I have seen grainger beat AD on pricing for anything.

I shopped at Grainger mostly for my print shop needs because of the prompt customer service and same day delivery...believe me lost productivity costs way more than an overpriced product.

So then what you described should do the trick. I got side-tracked by talk of a switch somewhere along the way and my understanding of the requirements drifted.

I shop at grainger when I need something NOW. Today, within an hour or two, it's as simple as driving to grainger. If I need 4 they'll only have 3, but they can get me the 4th one tomorrow, but that's still faster than I can get it anywhere else. Yeah, good customer service too. But that "yeah we have that" is how they get away with what they charge.

@rbpaac Are you keeping up with this? You can ignore what I was saying about an off delay relay and just do this:

The operation of the H3Y-2 should be as follows...
Connect the power to the control contacts with a NC push button. 13/14
Connect the power to the load thru the NC contacts of the relay, either set.

I actually bought almost the same one before I got the 'Omron.' But turned out it didn't really do 110v, and was strictly a 6v relay:

I see, that's smart, thanks guys!
So the purpose of the NC button is to *reset* the timer cycle.
I.e. the relay is always energized, but in reality that state only lasts 30 sec until the timer cycle completes.
Then the relay shuts down power to the pump until the next time the cycle is reset.
Looks like this would work with (2) NC buttons in series (there are two remote sinks, the Kitchen and the upstairs Bath)?

Not really. I didn't realize it was fake when I bought it. What would you recommended, now that you've suggested a different circuit? Macromatic off-delay, or other?
That's a great relay, too bad it's probably fake; the genuine article Omron part would have been a great fit.
This doesn't seem like a particularly critical operation. If it fails, what happens? Someone has to wash their hands in cold water until the hot water shows up? I already have to do that.
I would probably just try it out and if it fails upgrade to the genuine Omron one or something like this.

NC means always powered *except* for when the relay cycles, correct? I'm sure I'm missing something here, but:
1/ I push the button, which
2/ resets the timer cycle in the relay, which
3/ is always getting power, so it immediately cycles for 30 sec, which
4/ I think, disconnects power at the NC terminals and connects at the NO terminals?

Well, there's an easy way to test this! Wire it up and see!

Yeah, it's a triple-negative. Three lefts makes a right in this case.
Normally you would:
use a NO (normally open) pushbutton to an OFF-delay timer and use the NO contact of the relay for the pump
But in this case you can:
use a NC (normally closed) pushbutton to an ON-delay timer and use the NC contact of the relay for the pump

When you push the button, you turn off the relay.
When you take your finger off the button you turn on the relay.
When the relay turns on, it counts to 30 before turning "on" the output (but really it's turning OFF the output since you used the NC contact)
The relay then remains powered, leaving its output "on" (OFF in your case) indefinitely.
Then you push the button two days later, interrupt power to the relay, it resets
Take your finger off the button... repeat

EDIT:
The only one drawback to leaving the relay energized 99.9% of the time is that it wastes a little bit of power. According to the Omron datasheet:

That will cost you $1.54 annually at 11c/kWH. I would not worry about this unless you live off the grid with a single 12V battery that you charge by hand-cranking a generator.
