Re-watch the video. The bottom shelf drops out of the way. Any contents on that shelf drops. When the next shelf drops the bottom shelf is already out of the way. This continues until the final, top shelf drops. When restocked with food the shelves need to be manually reset.

I'm wondering if the TS has made any progress on this, or if he has been so thoroughly confused. Ramener, have you solved the problem?
